Sam Nowhere2 Hyde V Tommy Gifford

Sam Nowhere2 Hyde V Tommy Gifford

Sam’s fight against Tommy Gifford lasted all of 56 seconds on Saturday night on Matchroom’s Boxing World Championship bill at the Phones 4U Arena.
After being luckily enough to be asked to fight on this fantastic Show on the Scott Quigg in Undercard in only his 2nd fight Tommy Gifford was expected to give Sam a test.

Tommy coming on the back of a draw against Steve Collins Jnr and also a 1st round Knockout of Danny Benson.

This was not to be the case, as Sam made his intentions known very early on in the fight ,well around 30 seconds as a big right rocked Gifford with a barrage of body shots before a crushing blow sent Gifford to the canvas.

Gifford got up at the count of 8 and the Referee decided to allow Gifford to carry on but it was only a matter of time before Hyde would finish the job.

Hyde was not going to allow Gifford off the hook and came in quickly with another crushing amount of shots to send Gifford to the canvas again only for the referee to step in and stop the fight after 56 Seconds.

The quickest stoppage of the night.

With the TeamHyde Army out in force and very vocal, they made this a very special occasion for Sam and all the team. Sam would like to thank everyone at Matchroom boxing and Eddie Hearn as well as Dave Coldwell for putting him on the show and making the 1st of hopefully many Dreams come true. And the most important people his ever growing Team Hyde Army of fans who always make it a special occasion
